Terms and Conditions for Executive Function and ADHD Coaching Services

1. Coaching Services

Executive Function and ADHD Coaching ("Coaching") is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to support clients in developing skills related to organization, planning, time management, productivity, self-regulation, accountability, and related executive functioning challenges.

Coaching is educational and supportive in nature and is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, psychiatric care, or any other healthcare service.

2. Client Eligibility

By engaging in Coaching Services, the client confirms that they:

  • Have parental/legal guardian consent.

  • Understand the nature and limitations of coaching.

  • Accept responsibility for decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from the coaching process.​

3. Scope of Coaching

The Coach agrees to:

  • Provide coaching sessions as scheduled.

  • Support the client in identifying goals and developing practical strategies.

  • Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.

The Coach does not:

  • Diagnose medical, psychological, psychiatric, learning, or developmental conditions.

  • Provide medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

  • Prescribe, recommend, or alter medication.

  • Guarantee specific outcomes or results.​

4. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Attend sessions punctually.

  • Participate actively in the coaching process.

  • Complete agreed-upon actions or exercises where applicable.

  • Communicate honestly regarding challenges, goals, and progress.

The client acknowledges that progress depends substantially on their own effort, commitment, and circumstances.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Coaching fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payment must be received before the scheduled session.

  • Prices may be revised with reasonable notice.

  • Any outstanding balances must be settled before further services are provided.​

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice ("no-show") will be charged at the full session fee.

  • The Coach reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.​

7. Confidentiality

The Coach will maintain the confidentiality of information shared during coaching sessions, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is concern regarding:

  • Risk of serious harm to the client or others.

  • Abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person.

  • Compliance with legal obligations, court orders, or regulatory requirements.

Electronic communication cannot be guaranteed as completely secure, and clients accept the associated risks.

8. Communication Between Sessions

Communication between sessions may be available via email, messaging applications, or other agreed methods.

The Coach will make reasonable efforts to respond within stated business hours but does not provide crisis support, emergency services, or continuous availability.

9. Emergency and Mental Health Support

Coaching is not a crisis service.

If the client experiences:

  • Suicidal thoughts,

  • Severe emotional distress,

  • Mental health crisis, or

  • Any medical emergency,

the client should immediately contact emergency services, a healthcare provider, or an appropriate crisis support service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Coaching services are provided on an "as-is" basis.

  • The Coach makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes.

  • The Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in coaching services.

The client remains solely responsible for their decisions, actions, and results.

11. Intellectual Property

Any worksheets, tools, templates, assessments, guides, training materials, or resources provided by the Coach remain the intellectual property of the Coach unless otherwise stated.

Such materials may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or shared without prior written permission.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time by providing written notice.

Any prepaid sessions already delivered remain payable. Refunds for unused sessions will be governed by the Coach's refund policy.

The Coach reserves the right to terminate services where:

  • The coaching relationship is no longer productive.

  • The client's needs fall outside the scope of coaching.

  • There is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct.​

13. Disclaimer

The client acknowledges that coaching is intended to support personal development and skill-building. Coaching is not a substitute for medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychological assessment, psychiatric care, or other licensed healthcare services.

Clients with ADHD, mental health concerns, or other medical conditions should seek appropriate professional care where necessary.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal information will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Information will be used solely for the provision and administration of coaching services unless otherwise authorized by the client or required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where the Coach conducts business.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, purchasing, or participating in Coaching Services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
